Why Become a Member?

The AAEIO organization is formed with the purpose of promoting, educating & engaging all Engineers. We are planning to organize a number of social and professional events on a regular basis benefiting our membership, the community, and society at large. Details are below:

KEYNOTE EVENTS

• Annual Fall Gala event for all members with key note speakers and member award ceremony. Past keynote speakers were: Mr. Amit Kumar, Consul General of India, Chicago; Mr. Sean Carsten, Congressman; Raja Krishnamoorthi, Congressman, Dr. Mohanbir Singh Sawhney, Associate Dean, Kellogg School of Management. 
• Spring StartUp Incubator Conference : Event for all engineering startup to present their solution to wide audience. All members and other communities get complimentary access.

BUSINESS NETWORKING EVENTS

• Professional speakers – Professional speakers on business and technology topics organized as fire chats. Invited guest are CEO of Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, Boeing among others. 
• Breakfasts Events  – Informal gatherings organized by members to promote entrepreneurship 
• Virtual Seminars on relevant topics: Crypto technologies, Digital Transformation, & Electrification of US & India transportation network
• Others (tentatively under consideration)

• Christmas get-together – An event celebrating new year together around end of year (Next event planned for Dec, 10th 2021)

• Assist Engineers joining universities with jobs, research and internship opportunities  – All Indian Student Association (ISA) are invited to become AAEIO complimentary membership.
